How to Apply:

  1. Return one copy of your signed Enrollment Contract and applicable Registration and Activity Fees by March 13, 2016 to avoid a Late Fee of $100, along with a separate note (do NOT write it on the contract) indicating that you intend to apply for Tuition Assistance.

  2. Submit the applicable Tuition Assistance Application Fee.  Applications CANNOT be evaluated without payment of this non-refundable fee.

  3. Complete a FACTS Tuition Aid application by simply logging onto  You must also send your 2015 Federal Tax return either by uploading it to the FACTS website or by faxing it to FACTS at 1-866-315-9264. If your 2015 Tax Return(s) are not available, submit your 2014 Tax Returns AND 2015 W-2s. Complete this step by March 13, 2016.

  4. Submit a signed copy of the HANC Tuition Payment Preference Form indicating your payment option.

Next Steps:

  • Once your application is reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Committee, your payments will automatically be adjusted to your actual obligation, reflecting any grant that may be awarded.

  • Upon review of your application and supporting documents you may be required to submit additional documents.

  • Final decisions made by the HANC Tuition Assistance Committee will be forwarded to applicants by mail. Applications will not be reviewed until all of the above have been completed.
Only families with children in grades kindergarten through twelve who do not have any past-due balances AND who have paid the applicable Tuition Assistance Application Fee may apply.

The awarding of tuition assistance is not automatic.
Families who received tuition assistance in 2015-2016 must re-apply.
